David Okuwobi

David Okuwobi brings over a decade of valuable experience in the Renewable Energy and Investment Banking industries and is currently the Business Development Director at Nautilus Solar Energy.

David has made significant contributions to the industry with a strong background in deal negotiations, due diligence, and commercial and transaction expertise. He has worked at renowned companies such as AES Clean Energy and NextEra Energy, where he focused on Mergers and acquisitions and played a crucial role in acquiring renewable assets totaling over $300 million throughout his career.

Before his work in the renewable energy sector, David gained valuable experience in the financial services industry in New York City, working at prestigious institutions including J.P. Morgan, BNY Mellon, and Credit Suisse. He has also made a mark in finance by serving on the Board of Directors for Utilities Employee Credit Union, a Federally Insured State Chartered Credit Union with assets exceeding $1 billion.

David's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Morgan State University, a historically black university known for its excellence, and an MBA from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business, which further equipped him with advanced business acumen.
